Negatieve ervaring: Van Huis was very smooth when getting into the house and earning them a fair share of commission, during the contract they simply disappear. When leaving the flat the agent has been extremely pushy, unable to reach a compromise when it comes to visitations (despite our right to remain in the house until the end of the month and our explanations regarding the difficulties) and we chose to expedite every process in order to get rid of the agency as soon as possible. Thank god I have a wonderful landlady to intermediate the negotiations, which should have been the minimum expected from a real state agency: giving less worries to landlords and tenants. Unfortunately, not worth the commission they make. Landlords, beware the agency might damage the relationship with your tenants.

Ons appartement is weer verhuurd en de manier waarop dat is verlopen is ronduit professioneel. Opvallend vonden we de snelle respons tijd op appjes of mails. En de kwaliteit van het advies en de begeleiding was ook uitstekend. En misschien wel het beste gevoel dat we erbij hebben is dat het persoonlijk is. We zijn geen nummer. En ging er dan niks mis? Once under a contract with them (maybe that's the hard part given the huge apartment demand in Amsterdam), they are helpful with particular requests and also contract adjustments in case (I had to swap flatmate at some point for example and they managed it greatly).

Fantastische ervaring: One of the better real estate agents in Amsterdam. The communication channels are smooth, professional and transparent. I viewed (and eventually signed) an rental apartment on the Ijdok, Amsterdam. My initial contact was by email, followed by a viewing with the owner of the company. He did not pay 100% attention as he seemed busy managing other viewings on the phone. But for the rest he was friendly and showed me everything necessary. The communication with the head office (Eliska) was fantastic. We had multiple email and phone threads to discuss details and everything was organised to my needs. I would therefore recommend working with them again!

Negatieve ervaring: They were a nightmare from start to finish. I hired them to rent out my apartment twice. Both times it took them ages to find a candidate even though the Amsterdam market is quite tight. It would take them days to respond to emails, if you got a reply at all. When confronted they would just say "it fell through the cracks". I switched realtors and had my apartment rented in two weeks after waiting for two months and having nothing with Van Huis Uit. Avoid at all costs.

Negatieve ervaring: The agency sent me the invite for the viewing at 11.40. They didn't ask me if the time slot they proposed works for me. However, I adjusted my agenda to make it. On the following day (viewing day) they wanted to reschedule the viewing to be 20 minutes earlier. I informed them that I can only make it at the originally scheduled time. The response was rude and unprofessional saying that they can be in the property only until 11.30 and If I don't come before that time the property might be rented out. I informed them again that I can only make it at 11.40. After that I didn't get any response like the viewing is canceled or with a new viewing date. I arrived at the property at 11.40 and no one was there. It's so rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. Horrible!

Appartement is snel op de markt gebracht waarbij Van Huis Uit Makelaars de foto's regelde. Door Covid19 duurde het helaas wel langer voordat het appartement werd verhuurd en moesten we 2 keer zakken in de prijs. Bij de laatste verlaging was het appartement binnen 3 dagen verhuurd. Afhandeling ging professioneel. Wat ik vooral prettig vindt is dat de documentatie e.d. volledig is geregeld en dat je weet dat het juridisch klopt. Bij de sleuteloverdracht is ook een compleet en nauwkeurig inspectierapport opgesteld met foto's van de huidige staat. Hierdoor weet de nieuwe huurder ook dat deze er voorzichtig mee om moet gaan omdat alles vast ligt. Enige punt ter verbetering zou ik zeggen dat ze iets pro-actiever mogen communiceren en adviseren in geval appartement langer op de markt beschikbaar is. Overall ben ik super tevreden en zou ik het de volgende keer weer via deze partij doen. Enthousiaste medewerkers en goede afhandeling. Top!
